Dear Woods Families,

We are excited to announce that Cheer Tryouts for the 2026–2027 school year are just around the corner! We are looking for spirited, committed, and responsible students to represent Woods on our cheer teams.

All current 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students are invited to participate.

Important Requirements:
Before students may stay after school for clinics, families must:

• Read the Cheer Start-Up Letter
• Read the Buchanan Area Code of Conduct
• Complete the Athletic Permission Slip

Please note that both clinic days are required. Accommodations will be made for track athletes who have qualified for the District Championships.

Tryout Schedule:

• Tuesday, May 12
  Cheer Clinic: 3:00–4:00 PM
  Parent Meeting: 4:00 PM (immediately following the clinic)
• Wednesday, May 13
  Cheer Clinic: 1:30–2:30 PM
• Thursday, May 14
  Tryouts: 3:00–5:00 PM

The clinics are a great opportunity for students to learn routines and prepare for tryouts, and attendance is essential.
