Group oral interpretation is a choral recitation of a poem or story. The group of children, 4th-6th graders, learn creative movement to enhance the delivery of the often humorous story. At times there are opportunities for smaller group or solo break-out parts.
Children learn the appreciation of literature interpretation, oral language and the skills it requires, and working together as a group. They also have a lot of fun along the way.
This year, interested students will need to memorize a short section of our performance piece and perform it alone at auditions. Signups are due Monday, December 4. Please visit
