FALL SPORTS

We’re excited to kick off another great year of Woods athletics! We encourage all eligible students to get involved, stay active, and represent Woods with pride.

Who Can Participate:

• 🏃‍♂️ Cross Country – Open to 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students

• 🏐 Girls Volleyball – Open to 5th and 6th grade students

• 🏈 Football – Open to 5th and 6th grade students

Participation in school sports is a great way for students to stay active, build teamwork skills, and show their Wolverine pride! Parents can now complete one online permission slip that covers participation in athletics for the entire school year.

Don’t miss out on the fun—encourage your child to get involved!

Football Coaches: Mr. Hedrick, Mr. Therrien, Mr. Campbell

Boys & Girls Cross Country Coaches: Mr. Watson, Mrs. Harper, Mr. Bernal

Girls Volleyball Coaches: Miss Pagani, Mr. Wolpert, Miss Collard

After-School Practices run from 2:50 PM to 3:50 PM and begin immediately after dismissal.
To participate, students must have a signed permission slip on file.

Please note: For safety reasons, younger siblings may not remain on campus during practice unless they are accompanied by a supervising adult.

You may review all forms on the link. THERE IS NO NEED TO PRINT & SIGN THESE FORMS.  You will be asked to "agree" and electronically submit all the forms you have completed at once to the school.

Please note that your acceptance of the forms are required for student participation in Woods athletics.

Buchanan Area Elementary Athletic Schedule 2025-26

4th Grade Manager Application
Manager positions are open to 4th grade students as needed by the athletic coach. Submitting an application, does not guarantee that you will be selected as a manager. Managers are expected to attend every after school practice and home games. Managers do not travel to away games. Manager positions can be counted as school service on the Block W Application. Students will still need to submit a school service form that logs their hours as a manager.
